Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Goveytara collects, why, and how to remove it. Last updated November 2026.

What we collect

• Account data: email, password hash, subscription tier, Stripe customer ID.
• Profile data: stage, target role, hours, deadlines, education, experience months, skills, certifications, and the resume text you paste.
• Usage data: pages and actions needed to operate and debug the service, stored in our own database.
• Payment data: handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.

How we use it

To generate plans, save task progress, provide support, prevent abuse, and understand which features are used. We do not sell personal data and we do not use resume text to train third-party AI models.

Resume processing

Resume text is parsed deterministically on our server for skill and certification keywords. It is stored with your profile so you can edit and regenerate your plan. You can delete your account and the associated profile and plans from the dashboard.

Cookies

We use two first-party cookies: a signed session cookie and a CSRF token. No advertising cookies, no third-party analytics scripts.

Processors

Stripe (payments), our hosting provider (compute and database), and our email provider (transactional email). Each receives only what is needed for its function.

Retention

Account and profile data are kept while your account is active. Payment records are kept as required for tax and accounting. Delete your account to remove profile and plan data; residual backups expire on our hosting provider's schedule.

Your rights

Depending on your location, you may request access, correction, export, or deletion. Email gen8272996@gmail.com. We respond within 30 days.

Children

The service is not directed to children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
